Application:

Toys Sharp Point Tester; Assess whether a product complies with sharp points require. The device has a slot  with 0.04 inches width and 0.045 inches long rectangular opening, the two reference sizes sharp cusp are inserted into the depth of 0.015 inches deep hole of the sensor head.And overcome the spring of 0.5 pound elastic to cause the sensor  head to move 0.005 inches again. 

 

Operation method:

• 1. Adjustment procedure of cusp tester

  1.1. Release the locking ring by clockwise rotation.

  1.2. Rotate the test cap clockwise until the red indicator is on. 

  1.3 slowly turn the test cap counterclockwise until the indicator light is off.

  1.4. Turn the test cap forward/backward to determine the exact position when the indicator is just on.

  1.5. The scale marks marked by the reference lock ring shall be aligned with one of the scale marks of the test cap.

  1.6. Rotate the 5-grid scale line of the test cap counterclockwise (the distance between the two short lines on the cap is one grid).

  1.7. Twist the locking ring until it is close to the tail cover.

   

  2. Cusp test program

  Place the tip into the measuring slot of the cusp tester, hold the test object and apply a force of 4.5n to check whether the lamp will be on.If the cusp tester is free to be perpendicular and no external force is applied, the external force applied by the measured object is 4.5n (1LBS).

   

  3. Judgment: if the lamp is on, the measured object is unqualified product, that is, the sharp point.
